
November 2010 and 2011 saw a new initiative introduced for our current undergraduate students called ‘Career Development Week’.
A week of teaching was taken out of our current undergraduate student’s timetable and replaced with a week of activity, designed to build awareness of the skills required after graduation and in a competitive job market.
Accenture, Aldi, KPMG, PWC, Ernst & Young and L’Oreal – to name some of the companies that participated, many of whom sent graduates from Newcastle University Business School as their representatives, who are now successfully working within these organisations.
All of the above graduates from the Business School participated in running presentations, sessions and workshops for the benefit of our current student community and ultimately helped the events become a true success!
