Brief description of career since graduating…
I was selected for the HSBC International Managers Programme. This is an elite programme within the bank developing high potential individuals as general managers for the Bank. This is achieved through mobilising managers every 18 months to new countries and new roles throughout the bank.
Your current role: What are your responsibilities, what is a typical day like, what are the highs and lows of the job?
Current role is Officer of Trade and Supply Chain and Receivable Finance for Latin America International. Main responsibilities include assisting in the management of the office of the Central Customer Service Centre for Latin America trade. We ensure the limits and transactions are processed for the trade customers of 7 different Latin America countries. Responsibilities include management of the data system we use to manage all clients, financial reports for 7 different countries, project work increasing the efficiency of the region's trade, employee engagement, and anything else my boss throws at me!
What are your main memories of your time at the Business School?
Fond memories, useful content, I grew up there, friends, opportunities, support, guidance and application of lecture content to the 'real world'.
