Entered Chartered Accountancy in 1983, obtaining ACA in 1986. Migrated to Australia in 1988, Joined Coopers & Lybrand. Returned to the UK in 1991 – joined Rolls-Royce but returning to Melbourne in 1996. Managed one of Melbourne’s leading law firms for 7 years, now consulting to professional service firms.
Your current role: What are your responsibilities, what is a typical day like, what are the highs and lows of the job?
As principal of Cestria Consulting for 7 years I have worked with law firms and now medical practices to help them improve their businesses.
What are your main memories of your time at the Business School?
Jumping on to the paternoster in Claremont tower. Friendships and Newcastle’s nightlife!
