The entry criteria for the Newcastle University Business School MBA programmes are as follows:

  • A minimum of three years relevant work experience of a managerial nature.
  • A good first degree or equivalent professional qualification.

If your first language is not English, we usually require a recent English language test score of 6.5 or above in IELTS. Courses in English language are available at the University and successful completion of these may be a condition of entry.

Applications will be reviewed by the relevant Programme Director. Our aim is to recruit MBA students who have the potential to make a difference. The closing date for September 2012 applications is 31st August 2012.

All applicants who pass the initial review stage of the application process will be invited for interview. This gives you the opportunity to see the Business School and the city of Newcastle upon Tyne.For applicants who cannot attend a face-to-face interview we can arrange for an interview to be conducted via telephone or Skype.
