Why did you choose to study this particular degree
programme?
My first degree was BSc Computer Science and I wanted to study a postgraduate degree which would combine computing with business. I also wanted to do my masters degree at Newcastle University Business School and so researched this degree on the website.
After reading the course information and finding out more about the modules, I decided to apply.
What aspects of the programme do you enjoy the most?
All the reading materials are very interesting and you are provided the opportunity to learn new and innovative things. The course is also varied and you get the chance to work with students from across the globe.
We have guest lecturers who come from various multinationals, for example, Accenture, to discuss topics related to our course and to present possible career opportunities.
Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University
Business School?
Newcastle University is popular with students due to its teaching quality and because it’s one of the leading research universities in the UK. Having completed my undergraduate degree within the region, I absolutely feel in love with the city and didn’t want to leave.
What is it like to live in Newcastle?
Great! The Quayside is my favourite spot in the town. I was impressed by the Geordie hospitality and the people are so friendly. This is a great place to study and live and it’s not too expensive. Newcastle is also very popular for its nightlife, there’s always something going on and the city is always lively.
What are your future career ambitions?
I would like to continue developing my knowledge in the e-business field and to find a job (when I graduate), which will allow me to combine my expertise in both computing and business management.
