The MSc in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship explores the strategies and business processes that promote innovation and creativity in organisations, including the fundamentals of enterprise development and entrepreneurship. It produces graduates who aspire to strategic roles within the private and public sectors and who lead these organisations through innovative change.
More specifically, the programme provides opportunities for students to develop an advanced understanding of:This programme is aimed at students who intend to seek roles in organisations where innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship are defining features. This can include innovation consultancy, product development and management and business support. It is also aimed at those who want a postgraduate management education that will prepare them to start their own business.
On a professional level, students will:
The programme is modular in structure, comprising 180 credits, which are studied on a full-time (12 months) basis. All students will take the following compulsory modules (140 credits):

Dr Chris Ivory is a senior lecturer at Newcastle University Business School. A social scientist, his research interests include innovation and technology management, history of technology, critical management approaches to project management, and the management of complex projects. Chris is a member of the British Academy of Management and the European Academy of Management and an Advance Institute of Management (AIM) scholar.

Candidates are required to hold a minimum upper second class first degree (2:1) or international equivalent.
