Research Interests

My PhD research was on Applied Bayesian modelling. In particular the application of these techniques to financial time series and the subsequent derivation of efficient portfolios, through decision theoretic approaches.

My recent research has been in two areas. I am interested in the application of forecasting techniques within supply chains. In particular military spare parts supply chains, where the intermittent and low volumes of demand make forecasting complicated.

I am also interested in Lean within public sector contexts and how this is applied and the difficulties faced when trying to implement lean solutions.
