Background

David Peck completed his first degree in Business and Management at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree David moved to Suwon, South Korea, where he taught Business and Academic English to multinational corporations. On his return to the UK he undertook an MSc in Marketing at Nottingham Trent University, prior to embarking on a Masters in Research (Business and Management) at Nottingham University Business School.

In tandem with his own academic portfolio, David has held roles for an array of universities, focusing upon widening participation and raising awareness of the opportunities available to under-represented students.

David began teaching (in the FE sector) for South Nottingham College in October 2008, and moved into teaching within the HE sector in April 2010, working for the Open University, the University of Leicester, and Nottingham Trent University.

David joined Newcastle University Business School in September 2011.
