I completed my degree at University of Manchester in 2002 and then joined the NHS National Financial Management Training Scheme. I completed my training across a variety of NHS organisations in 2005 and was appointed as a directorate accountant within a large NHS Trust. In 2007 I moved to an accountant job within local government and in summer 2008 I joined the university
