Background

I completed my degree at University of Manchester in 2002 and then joined the NHS National Financial Management Training Scheme. I completed my training across a variety of NHS organisations in 2005 and was appointed as a directorate accountant within a large NHS Trust. In 2007 I moved to an accountant job within local government and in summer 2008 I joined the university

Fiona is interested in financial management and reporting in the UK public sector.

Current Work 

Currently research is being undertaken in the English NHS considering which financial management pratices that are utilised and why.
