Mich Tvede joined Newcastle University in April 2011. Before coming to England he was professor of Economics at University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has a doctoral degree from CBS, Denmark and master degree from University of Copenhagen.
Mich is a theoretical economist. He works with general equilibrium theory including financial markets and production, overlapping generations economies and some game theory. In addition he applies theory to areas such as sports leagues, internet economics and productivity analysis.
