Student Exchange Programme (ERASMUS scheme)

The Student Exchange Programme provides the opportunity for University students to study and/or work in Europe where they can experience life in a different country and enhance their future employability through:-

  • increased cultural awareness
  • improved communication and language skills
  • development of transferable skills
  • evidence of mobility
  • enhanced personal development

Around 150,000 students take advantage of the Erasmus scheme every year.

Erasmus Coordinator

If you are interested in applying for the scheme you must speak to the School's Erasmus Coordinator, Mrs Shelagh Cauwood, about your plans, and have her agreement to participate. She will be able to advise you on academic matters, including module choices, as well as advise you on the partner institutions and how to apply to them.
