Visiting Us

why not come and visit? We encourage everyone who applies to Newcastle to come and see us. This is because we are confident that we have a first class School in a first class location. Students who visit are almost always favourably impressed.

If you visit on one of our open days, then you will be shown around the School and the city by some of our present students. This gives you the opportunity to quiz them and to find out exactly what student life at Newcastle is really like!

University Visit Days

The Student Recruitment Office organizes Visit Days throughout the year for school groups and individuals who are considering applying to university.

School Open Days

All candidates to whom offers are made will be invited to attend an open day, but attendance is not compulsory.

At open days there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and candidates will have the chance to meet current students from the School as well as academic staff.

Applicants are not generally interviewed, but we may interview candidates with unusual qualifications or those who have been out of education for a long time, since we need to assess their ability to complete the course successfully, and they need an opportunity to evaluate whether our programmes are suitable for them. At interview, candidates have the opportunity to ask any questions they may wish to.
