English Language Entry Requirements
To get the most out of your Summer School experience, you will need a good standard of English - speaking, reading and writing. This is particularly important if you are intending to take a summer school programme for academic credit.
Students whose first language is not English require a minimum of:

While other tests are accepted we will also consider experience, such as time spent living in an English speaking country.
Don't forget it is possible for you to take an English Language course with INTO Newcastle University before taking your three week Summer School programme. For more information about a suitable combination, please contact Intern-SummerSchools@ncl.ac.uk .
