Newcastle Law School was well represented at two poster sessions recently. The first, at Salford University's annual postgraduate research conference, was a large interdisciplinary gathering. Norain Ismail and Khadijah Mohamed had posters accepted for inclusion in the conference and attended on 8 May to present their research. The second event was the Stage 2 PGR poster conference on 12 May, organised as part of our Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences' research training programme. Firas Massadeh and Khadijah Mohamed both submitted well-received posters and Khadijah Mohamed's was adjudged runner-up in the poster competition. A number of our other law reseach students, along with the presenters' supervisor, attended the Faculty event to enjoy an overview of doctoral work in the Faculty. Poster sessions provide an excellent opportunity to present research in a concise and engaging form and research students are urged to take advantage of the excellent opportunities that the Faculty event offers.
