Selection Criteria
When you apply for one of our research programmes we will consider several important criteria.
In particular we need evidence of :
- your suitability to undertake a doctoral programme
- proficiency in the English language, where appropriate
- your suitability to undertake a research project within the allotted time span
In order to help us determine whether all these criteria are met, we will need
your application to provide:
- information about your qualifications and experience
- details of two referees
- a research proposal.
In making our decision we will also consider the availability of:
- a supervisory team in the Law School which is qualified
to supervise your chosen research project
- resources in the Law School to support your research
project to a successful conclusion
