Introduction
I am a graduate of University College Cork (BCL, LLM) and the University of Bremen (Dr. iur.). Before joining Newcastle Law School, I was researcher at the Centre for European Law and Politics (ZERP) at the University of Bremen.

Postgraduate Supervision
I am currently supervising a PhD candidate writing on the 'Europeanisation' of private law. I am also second supervisor to a candidate writing on the liability of public authorities and a candidate in the School of Modern Languages working on problems of legal translation.
