Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) was delighted to have been featured recently on a Channel NewsAsia documentary.  The documentary, which aired over three nights in August, explored the development of Iskandar Malaysia and investment from Companies such as Legoland and Pinewood Studios who have set up here. On 29th August it focussed its attention on EduCity, and in particular Newcastle University, which is now in it's fifth year of operation.

The documentary gave viewers the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art campus with cutting edge patient simulators, and Professor Reg Jordan, Provost and CEO of NUMed, talked about NUMed's faculty of international repute and outlined our approach to recruiting students from rural areas. The programme also discussed how the Iskandar Malaysia Development, and the establishment of institutions such as Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia was of great benefit to Johorians.
