Background

I joined Newcastle University Medicine,Malaysia since middle of 2013 as clinical lecturer (Obstetrics and Gynaecology).

My current role here is mainly teaching in EJR (year 3) and ESR (year 5) for Women's health and I also get involved with some lectures in year 1 and year 4.

Research

 Research during my postgraduate training:

A cross sectional study of anaemia in pregnancy at term and obstetric outcomes of anaemic pregnant mother, conducted in Central Women's Hospital, Yangon, Myanmar during year 2009-2010 and dissertation published in 2011.

My reseacrh interest include clinical research relating to maternal medicine, fetal medicine, reproductive medicine and endoscopy.

Teaching

Mainly involve in Obstetrics and Gynaecology teaching of

year 5 (Essential Senior Rotation) which include bedsides teaching, operation theatre teaching, workshop, seminar,lectures and

year 3 (Essential Junior Rotation) which include besides teaching, operation theatre teaching, students' presentation, seminars, lectures and problem based learning.

Also involve in life cycle 1 and 2 of year 1 teachings.
