How to Apply: MBBS Programme - Entry 2014
Application for entry in September 2014 is now open. NUMed Malaysia has only one intake per year, in September each year.
If you already meet the entry requirements outlined below, or are forecast to meet the requirements by mid-August 2014 then you should apply now using the following procedure:
- You must apply directly to NUMed Malaysia, and not through the UCAS system. Applicants should download and complete the Application Form (Word doc: 125KB)
- You should return your fully completed Application Form, together with the documents listed below, by email to admissions@newcastle.edu.my
- Transcripts/certificates showing you previous academic awards/examination results
- Your current academic transcripts or forecast results in your pre-university examinations: these must be certified by your school or college
- A copy of your identity card or passport
- Once we have received your application, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you from the NUMed Malaysia Office.
- Your application will be considered by our Admissions team and you will be notified whether you have been selected for interview, or not.
Malaysian applicants: While there is no formal closing date for the receipt of applications, you are encouraged to apply early as places on the programme are offered throughout the year and a limited number of places are available.
International applicants: The closing date for receipt of international applications is 30th June 2014. This is to permit enough time for us to assist you to obtain your student visa.
The date of registration for enrolment in 2014 is Monday 22nd September, 2014
