The academic concept underpinning NUMed Malaysia is for the transnational delivery in Malaysia of a range of undergraduate biomedical and medical degree programmes, equivalent and of comparable standard to those of Newcastle University's UK-based provision but contextualised to Malaysian circumstance and taking into account the cultural differences.
Undergraduate programmes offered at NUMed Malaysia
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (KN9561)
- BSc Biomedical Sciences (Honours) - planned for September 2013)
In addition, NUMed plans to offer foundation programmes leading into both NUMed's Medical MBBS and Biomedical Sciences (BSc Honours) from 2013.
