A single inclusive tuition fee is charged to cover the costs of, tuition, library, laboratory, placements, examination, administration, and all other academic-related charges. There are no additional fees for initial application, annual registration, re-examination, or graduation.
The comprehensive tuition fee for the academic session 2012–13 is set at RM90,000
There is no fee differential between the years of pre-clinical study (Years 1 and 2) and clinical study (Years 3, 4, and 5). To ensure equity, and in line with the Fees Policy of Newcastle University, all fees are increased in line with inflation on an annual basis. All fee schedules will be published at least 12 months ahead of the academic session to which they apply.
The overall cost of obtaining the degree in Malaysia will be significantly less than the cost of obtaining the same degree in the UK. In addition to your tuition fees you will also need money for living expenses, including accommodation costs. The estimated living cost per year in Malaysia is RM12,000. If you are accepted to study for an intercalation period in the UK, you should allow approximately RM3,000 per month for living costs in the UK.
