The health and well being of University employees is essential for the continuing success and prosperity of Newcastle University. The University is committed to providing advice, guidance and facilities which enable everyone to take steps to maintain and improve their health and to prevent illness.
Occupational Health Services can advise employees on a range of health promotions opportunities ranging from sports activities to interactive learning packs, to inform understanding and enable selective health choices. There is also a Mental Well Being programme.

Pandemic Flu
Occupational Health have worked with other parts of the University to produce the guidance Planning for Pandemic Flu which specifies the actions that Schools and the University need to take to manage any future pandemic flue outbreak.
