Module
dates
The IGDS has a nominal 18 month cycle. There are 16 modules which, apart from August, cycle around at the rate of approximately one module per month. The only exception to this is the Instrumentation and Measurement module which has a 12 month cycle.
Modules are always scheduled for the week closest to the middle of the month, subject to adjustment for Christmas, Easter and bank holidays, etc.
When planning which modules to take, remember that the examination is normally held on the Friday closest to the end of the month that is 2½ months after the module. See the separate calendar of exam dates.
