Finding
the School
The best way to get about Newcastle is on the Metro
which is a system similar to the Tube in London: that is, underground
in the city centre and overground elsewhere.
The University is close to the Haymarket Metro Station to which
Metros depart from Newcastle Central Station every five minutes
throughout the day. The Haymarket is also on the branch to Newcastle
Airport from which there is Metro every 10-15 minutes, the journey
taking about 20 mins.
The School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced
Materials (CEAM) is in Merz Court which is a 5 minute walk from
the Haymarket.
Merz Court is beside the roundabout at the junction of Claremont
Rd
and Queen Victoria Rd.
Maps for finding your way from the Haymarket
and around the campus are available at:

Merz Court can be selected from the ‘campus
buildings’ menu in the location finder. The Haymarket Metro
Station can be selected from the ‘transport and stations’ menu.
