It's not just students who need the answers...
Parents and carers often have just as many questions about the decisions their child/ward is making and most importantly, whether their decisions are the right ones.
Our event can help support you in the decisions you'll have to make regarding university. We'll provide relevant information about higher education and Newcastle University and explain where to look for further details.
For further information, please just get in touch.
You can choose from a range of informal sessions to attend, as well as the option of a campus tour. This gives you the chance to tailor the event programme to best suit you.
We'll address common questions such as:
- which course and university?
- what happens during the application process?
- what financial and transitional support is offered for students?
- what are the career options?
While this event is aimed at parents of pupils who are currently studying in Year 10 to Year 13/second-year college, it's open to anyone who has an interest in finding out more.
We use the terms parent, son, daughter and child for simplicity, but appreciate that many of you may be carers, legal guardians or step-parents. The event is aimed at anyone who fulfils a parenting role for a young person in the UK considering a university education.
This free event is held in October each year, and lunch will be provided. Each summer we'll advertise the date and time on these pages, and you can book online.
Here you can find out more information about our event by taking a look at our last programme.
