At Newcastle, we aim to admit the brightest and best students, regardless of background. We work closely with PARTNERS schools and colleges throughout the northern region to provide opportunities and support for students who may be thinking of applying to university.
As a result of this working relationship, and the events that we provide, we are able to:
“I would recommend the ASS, it helped me build confidence and confirm if university is for you. ”

Graduate Ambassadors
The Graduate Ambassador Team are recent Newcastle University graduates that offer a wide range of support, presentations and interactive activities to Years 12 and 13 (and college equivalent) students. As recent students, they are able to give a fresh and realistic perspective on university life and study. Visit the Graduate Ambassador website to access the resources that the team offer students and school/college staff.
Library Access
Staff and students from PARTNERS schools and colleges are also able to access the University Library. For more information, staff and students should go directly to the Library web pages.
