Parent and Carer Conference

Saturday 8 March 2014

King’s Road Centre, Newcastle University

The Parent and Carer Conference is a joint event between Newcastle, Northumbria and Sunderland Universities and can help you to support your son or daughter in the decisions they will have to make regarding university. The event will provide relevant information about Higher Education, as well as each individual institution and explain where to look for further details.

The programme will offer a range of informal sessions that address common questions, such as:

  • which course and university?
  • what happens during the application process?
  • what financial and transitional support is offered for students?
  • what are the career options?

The event is aimed at parents of pupils who are currently studying in Year 10, 11 or 12/first-year college, but open to any parents who have an interest in finding out more.

The event programme will be available from January 2014
