There are lots of issues to consider when choosing a course at university:
And it’s not just students who need the answers...
Parents often have just as many questions about the decisions their son or daughter is making and most importantly, whether their decisions are the right ones.
The Parent and Carer Conference can help you support your son or daughter in the decisions they will have to make. The event will provide relevant information about Higher Education and Newcastle University and explain where to look for further details.
The event is for parents of pupils who are currently studying in Year 11 or Year 12/first-year college, but open to any parents who have an interest in finding out more.
The programme offers a range of informal sessions, to give you the opportunity to have your questions answered.
A booking form will become available in December 2012.
Please note that this event is for parents and carers, and has not been designed for students. We hold a number of events for students and Visit Days throughout the year that are more suitable for students.
If your son or daughter is in Year 11 at school, they may wish to attend one of our Discover Days on Saturday 9 March, while you are at the conference.
