Understanding how students can afford to fund a Higher Education and their time at university can be very confusing as there is so much information available. Students are being unnecessarily deterred from applying to university due to misconceptions about student debt, rather than basing their decision on how much it’s actually likely to cost them.
This event will help you and your child to understand how the student finance package works by providing relevant information about Higher Education funding. It will enable you all to make an informed decision about going to university. The event is part of ‘National Student Finance Day’ and is aimed at parents and carers of students in Years 11, 12 and 13 or currently at college. The event will use information based on 2013 entry.
