In addition to awareness-raising events for all students from PARTNERS schools and colleges, the University also runs activities specifically for students on the PARTNERS Programme Supported Entry Route. If you've been accepted onto the Programme, we will write to you with more information about each of these events, but you may want to make a note of the key dates now.

This session explores the range of opportunities that are open to students studying at Newcastle through workshops on Student Life, the Students' Union, Making the most of your Money and many more. Please note: although this event is not compulsory, students who are thinking seriously about coming to Newcastle University through PARTNERS are strongly encouraged to attend. |
| 23 March 2011 | PARTNERS Programme Information Evening: Student Finance and the Assessed Summer School | University staff provide information for parents about student finance (including PARTNERS bursaries, scholarships and prizes) and what to expect from the Assessed Summer School. |

*Pre-Summer School Tutorial | This informal session provides you with detailed information about the PARTNERS Assessed Summer School, so you are fully prepared before the first day! We give you a selection of dates to choose from so that you can fit the tutorial around your exams. |
| June 2011 | *Pre-Summer School Outreach Tutorial | This informal session provides you with detailed information about the PARTNERS Assessed Summer School, so you are fully prepared before the first day! Due to the distance some students will have to travel to Newcastle University campus, we have arranged two Outreach tutorials in Cumbria and West Yorkshire, so you can fit the tutorial around your exams. |
| 4– 13 July 2011 | * PARTNERS Assessed Summer School and associated work | The Assessed Summer School forms a vital part of the PARTNERS offer, so make sure you are free between these dates if you want to take part! The Summer School itself is non-residential and on weekdays only ** |
