As well as providing a comprehensive programme of events and activities for students, we also offer a Higher Education Advisors and Teachers' Conference, designed to help those who support students in navigating the increasingly complex higher education environment. Newcastle University works with Northumbria and Sunderland Universities to organise an annual . To coincide with this, Newcastle University organises outreach conferences in different areas throughout the North of England to provide information for teachers and advisors who can not travel to campus.
Teachers' Toolkit has an innovative and extensive range of practical, online resources for teachers; including short interactive exercises, images and videos developed by staff at the University. This website also provides a full list of all of the events taking place across Newcastle University campus and in schools and colleges.
Building on the strengths of Aimhigher, Newcastle, Northumbria and Sunderland universities have created the Raising Aspirations Partnership; a regional partnership focused on aspiration raising activities for younger pupils (Year 11 and below). We hope that by collaborating in this way we can share resources and make it easier for schools to access these activities.
