Jackie Leach Scully at The Hastings Center, New York

PEALS Co-Director Jackie Leach Scully is one of the invited participants to a 2-day workshop at The Hastings Center, New York, one of the most prestigious bioethics research centres in the world.

The workshop forms one part of a major new project funded by a $1 million grant from the Templeton Foundation on the social, ethical and legal implications of human gene editing.

The project, 'Human flourishing in an age of gene editing', aims to explore some of the fundamental values underpinning our use of technologies that enable us to manipulate the human genome.

A project report is available on GenomeWeb.
