We are about a mile west of the city centre and two miles east of the A1/A69 junction. The PET Centre is located in Building 15 on the Health Innovation Neighbourhood on the site of the old Newcastle General Hospital.

Parking

A limited amount of public pay-and-display parking is available on the hospital site. Parking is monitored by an automated number plate recognition system and are managed by the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals Trust.  The Blue zone is available for public parking.  Parking charges can be found on the notices in each zone.

There are red bays available for patients and volunteers at the University campus (Magnetic Resonance Centre, Clinical Ageing Research Unit and the CRESTA clinics). Parking around the University campus is monitored by the University.  Special parking permits (available from reception) are to be displayed.
