Large research institutions which run programmes concerning the knowledge–human interface over a wide range of areas (eg The Wellcome Trust, NATO Research Fund, UN/UNESCO, Erasmus and other European schemes such as European Commission Directorate General for Education and Culture, eLearning Initiative). International students can also apply for University scholarships.
