Throughout the programme you have access to excellent library and archive holdings in Archaeology. There is also the opportunity to work with the exceptional University artefact collections and acquire advanced practical skills through a wide range of optional modules.

An upper-second-class Honours degree, or an international equivalent, in archaeology or a related field such as history, geography or classics. We will also consider applicants on an individual basis with extensive relevant professional experience.
Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in writing) or equivalent.
Our INTO Newcastle University Centre can provide extra tuition to help you meet the University's English language requirements.
The UK Border Agency (UKBA) has rules for international students regarding minimum English language requirements.
