Programme Overview

This programme combines business with computing management to enable you to compete effectively in an increasingly electronic business environment. Through an emphasis on e-marketing, you will focus on developing business strategies with technological capabilities for the effective marketing of products and services over the Internet.

Through a mix of lectures, seminars and workshops, you will develop the business and computing management skills essential for success in our global, knowledge based economy.

You will develop an in-depth knowledge of e-business and information systems and their applications in e-marketing, enabling you to:

• apply knowledge of specific business and computing methods and techniques to the development and implementation of a real e-marketing system, including the design and creation of new software packages
• demonstrate expertise in the use of up-to-date business management and computing system tools and techniques
• perform system analysis, benchmarking, management and installation functions as required to support e-marketing applications

This programme is suitable for graduates of all disciplines interested in a management career, enabling you to combine both e-business and computing management in the development and implementation of e-marketing strategies.

Part of a suite of programmes focussing on e-business, related programmes in this range include E-Business MSc and E-Business (Information Systems) MSc.
