Programme Overview
This programme aims to provide graduates with a key understanding of the ever evolving E-landscape, with a particular emphasis on information systems.
It provides the practical skills and knowledge necessary to translate the application of these technologies into strategic organisational objectives.
Aimed at graduates of all disciplines (no computer programming experience is required), this programme is for those who are interested in a management career with a strong emphasis on e-business, with a particular prominence given to E-Information Systems.
On completion, graduates can bridge the gap between managers who may lack the technical experience of computer scientists, and computer scientists who may lack business management expertise.

+Entrance Requirements
Normally an upper-second-class Honours degree, international equivalent or Postgraduate/Higher Degree in computing science. Candidates should have computing/programming experience. If you hold a non-standard qualification, and have relevant work experience, please contact the School and speak to the Degree Programme Director before you apply.
Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub skills. TOEFL 90 (Internet-based).

The UK Border Agency (UKBA) has rules for international students regarding minimum English language requirements.

There is no closing date for this programme. However, international students applying for September 2013 entry should apply by Friday 12 July 2013 to ensure that they have time to put appropriate arrangements in place.
Please note: As a formal condition of the offer to study at Newcastle University, students from outside the UK/EU are required to pay a deposit of £1,500 or submit an official letter of sponsorship for their chosen programme. The deposit payment is non refundable, but will be deducted from tuition fees upon registration.
