This programme aims to provide graduates with a key understanding of the ever evolving E-landscape, with a particular emphasis on information systems. It aims to provide the practical skills and knowledge necessary to translate the application of these technologies into strategic organisational objectives.
The programme comprises compulsory modules, specialist optional modules and a dissertation.
Compulsory modules (which are undertaken by all E-Business students, including those on the partner E-Marketing and E-Business degrees), cover the fundamentals of e-business management including: understanding organisations; consultancy project; and e-business. You also attend an advanced seminar series. Specialist optional modules include: network and web technologies; information systems; internet technology and electronic commerce; and research methods for e-business and information systems.

Normally an upper-second-class Honours degree or international equivalent in computing science. If you hold a non-standard qualification, and/or have relevant work experience, please contact the School and speak to the Degree Programme Director before you apply.
Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub skills. Pre-sessional courses in English language are provided by the University and successful completion of these may be a condition of entry.

There is no closing date for this programme. However, international students applying for September 2013 entry should apply by Friday 12 July 2013 to ensure that they have time to put appropriate arrangements in place.
Please note: As a formal condition of the offer to study at Newcastle University, students from outside the UK/EU are required to pay a deposit of £1,500 or submit an official letter of sponsorship for their chosen programme. The deposit payment is non refundable, but will be deducted from tuition fees upon registration.
