The MEd in Education is essentially a professional qualification, which aims to equip you with the skills to research your own professional practice, either current or future.
The MEd in Education has a generalist route and four specialist pathways, leading to different award. Each specialist pathway has a core taught module and a selection of relevant optional modules. If you follow the generalist route you take modules from different pathways. All students study a compulsory research module that develops the skills needed to carry out a research study and undertake a research project. There is an extended induction programme that provides you with support for advanced study, including assignment writing and information and communications and technology (ICT) training.
