Programme Overview

This programme involves a mixture of distance learning and week-long intensive schools delivered in Dubai.

This Dubai-based programme is accredited by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA). It is designed for graduates and engineers working full time, and aims to provide students with enhanced technical and managerial techniques that can be applied in the marine industry. The programme is dynamic and aims to respond to the current challenges and demands of the global maritime sector.

+Entrance Requirements

Normally an upper-second-class BEng Honours degree, or equivalent, in a marine technology subject or another relevant engineering subject. Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based), or equivalent.

The UK Border Agency (UKBA) has rules for international students regarding minimum English language requirements.
