Programme Overview

The MBA aims to enhance the knowledge and practice of management through applied learning in the business world. It focuses on the professional growth of individuals and is structured around a vigorous analysis of organisational practice, informed by relevant and contemporary research.

The Business School has always placed a strong emphasis on its MBA provision and our full time and executive programmes have been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) since 1988.

Our full-time MBA will provide you with new perspectives and a thorough grounding in leadership and management. The programme focuses on contemporary business issues such as: entrepreneurship; globalisation; organisational transformation; corporate governance; innovation and leadership.

+Modules

You can choose either to write an academic dissertation or a report based on a project that you complete within an organisation (such as your current employer, if appropriate).

You will also undertake a company project which is a new and innovative initiative. It is an opportunity to put your new skills into practice in the real world. The range of companies is excellent: regional, national and international organisations of different sizes and in different sectors.

Executive MBA (part-time route)  - please note that this programme will not be available until September 2013.
