This programme is designed to provide students with the opportunity to engage in the advanced study of operations management and accounting within the manufacturing and service sectors. The degree is closely aligned to the MSc Operations and Supply Chain Management but also includes both financial and cost accounting, giving students with an interest in finance a greater knowledge of financial decision making in areas such as product costing and investing.
The programme comprises of compulsory modules and a dissertation.

Normally an upper-second-class Honours degree in any subject or international equivalent.
Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub skills. Pre-sessional courses in English language are provided by the University and successful completion of these may be a condition of entry.

There is no closing date for this programme. However, international students applying for September 2013 entry should apply by Friday 12 July 2013 to ensure that they have time to put appropriate arrangements in place.
Please note: As a formal condition of the offer to study at Newcastle University, students from outside the UK/EU are required to pay a deposit of £1,500 or submit an official letter of sponsorship for their chosen programme. The deposit payment is non refundable, but will be deducted from tuition fees upon registration.
