One-to-one advice
Sessions with a careers adviser are available every week day without the need for an appointment. Drop-in times can be found on the Careers Service website. Your careers adviser can:
- help you identify careers that will suit you
- assess what skills you already have and the skills you need to develop to achieve your career goals
- provide feedback on your CV or job application
- arrange a mock interview
Business start-up support and advice
Information and professional independent advice is available to help you develop your business ideas.
If you take the next step and launch your company, we can also provide free workspace with telephone and Internet facilities.

Graduate Connections
Our Graduate Connection database contains profiles of over 600 graduates employed in a wide range of careers. You can read about their experience and contact them directly for unique insights into the work that they do and advice on how you can enter their area of work.
