Unless otherwise stated, tuition fees are payable for each year of your programme of study. Use our Funding database to find funding you could be eligible for - many awards cover tuition fees.
Research programmes involving intensive laboratory, clinical or fieldwork may incur higher fees than those stated. Additional expenses may also be include travel, fieldwork and materials. Contact your chosen subject area for details.
UK/EU students applying for a course leading to a qualification equivalent to or lower than a qualification you already hold, may have to pay higher fees. This is because the UK government no longer provides funding to universities for these students. Some exemptions do apply.
You may be eligible for a 2% discount on the proportion of fees for which you are personally responsible for paying if you pay in full before or by the end of registration week (some exclusions may apply).
If you don't take advantage of this discount, you will be required to pay half of your tuition fees in order to register. The second half of your fees are due in January.
For Newcastle University alumni who are self-funding, we offer a 20% tuition fee discount.
A 10% International Family Discount is available for close relatives of international students who meet the relevant criteria.
