    Organisations such as the Leverhulme Trust, the Crozier Fund, the Schools Competition Act Settlement Trust Awards (SCAST) and countless other charities and trusts make awards for postgraduate study.

    Both provide a great listing of grants, scholarships, trusts and other awards. They are available in most careers services and libraries, and provide up to date information on availability, eligibility and how to apply for postgraduate and professional funding. Medical charities offering funding schemes are listed as members of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC)
