Chevening Scholarship - Malaysia
Details:
This scheme provides opportunities for postgraduate study in the UK for professionals who demonstrate both academic excellence and the potential to become leaders, decision makers and opinion formers in their own country.
Value of the Award
Awards will be for a maximum of 12 months for a study at postgraduate level leading to a Master’s degree. The award covers:
• tuition fees
• a monthly stipend for living expenses sufficient for a single student
• return economy air fair
Eligibility
Applicants must display intellectual ability and leadership potential and have an adequate standard of English (a minimum of IETLS 6.5 or equivalent).
Normally, applicants are:
• aged between 25-35 years
• hold a degree of an equivalent standard to at least a good UK second – class Honours degree
• have a proven track record and potential to rise to position of influence
• are a national and resident of the country of Malaysia at the time of applying for the award and intend to return to Malaysia at the end of their award
