Newcastle University ASEAN Scholarship – Philippines

    Newcastle University is delighted to announce a number of scholarship awards for the Philippines for students commencing postgraduate studies in September 2012.  These partial tuition fee scholarships have a value of £4,000.

    The Newcastle University ASEAN Scholarship merit-based awards are for Philippine nationals who intend to register for postgraduate studies (one year master’s programmes) at Newcastle University, commencing in September 2012.

    Successful applicants will be awarded a partial tuition fee scholarship of £4,000 in their chosen postgraduate programme and the value of the scholarships will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account to reduce the overall cost of tuition fees. 

    The University awards the ASEAN scholarships on the basis of academic merit and other information on the Postgraduate ASEAN Scholarship Application Form. 

    Eligibility
    To be considered for this award, applicants must:

    • Be a national of (or permanently domiciled) of the Phillipines 
    • Have applied and been offered a place for academic year 2012/13 on a postgraduate (master’s) programme by Friday 31 May 2012 
    • Have been assessed as international (overseas) for fees purposes
    • Not be in receipt of any other fully-funded or partially-funded scholarship or sponsorship
    • Complete a scholarship application form

    Please complete the application form electronically and in accordance with the Postgraduate Scholarship Regulations, which are provided at the end of the application form.
