Newcastle - Santander Latin America Scholarships 2012-13
Newcastle University is delighted to announce a new international scholarship scheme - ‘Newcastle-Santander Latin America Scholarships’. A total of 8 individual scholarships will be awarded to students from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile. These are available to students beginning postgraduate courses at Newcastle University in September 2012.
The value of each award is £5000, payable towards the full international tuition fee.
Newcastle University is a member of the Santander Universities Network, and these scholarships have kindly been provided by Santander.
Eligibility
In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must satisfy the following conditions:
- you must be a student from Brazil, Mexico, Chile or Colombia.
- you must hold a Conditional or Unconditional offer of a place on a Postgraduate degree programme at Newcastle University
- you must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
- you intend to register to start your studies during the 2012-13 academic year
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
