MRC PhD studentships – Leeds Liverpool Newcastle Sheffield MRC DiMeN Doctoral Training Partnership

100% of UK/EU fees paid and a tax free stipend (living expenses) at the Research Council UK rate of £14,553 (subject to Research Council UK increase for 2018/19 entry). EU candidates must have been resident in the UK for 3 years in order to receive full support. Some students will be eligible for a fee only award (no stipend). Additional research training support funding is available.

BBSRC PhD studentships – Newcastle-Liverpool-Durham Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) in Biosciences (agriculture, biosciences, biotechnology, bioenergy, food security)

22 studentships across the partnership (Newcastle University, University of Liverpool and Durham University).

MRes plus PhD studentships - Cloud Computing for Big Data (EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training)

EPSRC minimum stipend (currently £14,553 per annum for 2017 entry) and full fees paid for UK/EU students. There is a further £2,000 per annum for travel and consumables. A laptop is provided for your studies.
