Stage 1

A further optional module to a value of 10 credits is taken from available modules within the University.

Stage 2

Candidates focusing on translating take the following compulsory modules:

• SML8008 Translation Studies II
  
• SML8009 Research Methods in Translating and Interpreting
  
• SML8010 Professional Issues in Translating and Interpreting
• CHN8024 Consecutive Interpreting II OR

• SML8098 Dissertation OR
• SML8099 Translation/Interpreting Project

Candidates focusing on interpreting shall take the following compulsory modules:
