Modules for Architecture, Planning and Landscape (Design), MA

In addition to the programme overview, the information below details the modules you can expect to study as part of this postgraduate degree. Please be aware that programme modules do change and therefore may differ for your year of entry.

Compulsory modules

• ARC8079 Design Thesis

Students with a first degree in Architecture will take the following:-

• ARC8077 Approaches to Architectural Design (1)
• ARC8078 Approaches to Architectural Design (2)

Students with a first degree in Landscape Design or other appropriate deisign subject will take the following:-

• APL8005 Advanced Landscape Design Studio (1)
• APL8006 Advanced Landscape Design Studio (2)

Optional modules

All candidates shall also take further modules totalling 80 credits from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape or elsewhere in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the approval of the Degree Programme Director. All optional module choices are subject to timetable.
