You will take at least 20 credits or up to 60 credits from the following:

- ARA8120 Recording Historic Buildings
- ARA8128 Armies and Frontiers of the Roman Empire
- ARA8184 Bodies in Prehistoric Europe c. 6500-700
- ARA8182 Prehistoric Architecture: Houses, Monuments and beyond
- ARA8186 Ancient Technologies: Understanding Metalwork
If agreed with the Degree Programme Director and Module Leader, the remaining credits (if not already selected from the above optional modules) can be taken from a further selection of optional modules. Examples include:
- CAC8097 Beginners' Greek for MA Candidates
- CAC8098 Beginners' Latin for MA Candidates
- CLA1011 Intermediate Latin Language and Literature 1 And
CLA1012 Intermediate Latin Language and Literature 2 - CAG2001 Level 2 Greek: Interpretation of Texts And
CAG3002 Level 2/3 Greek: Special Study Stage 3
If you opt to take a Greek or Latin language module, your choice will be dictated by your level in that language on entry.
